DeepSeek-V3 is the latest model from the DeepSeek team, building upon the instruction following and coding abilities of the previous versions. Pre-trained on nearly 15 trillion tokens, the reported evaluations reveal that the model outperforms other open-source models and rivals leading closed-source models.

Parameters supported by this model. Values, defaults, and limits are read from the model registry.

Controls whether the model may call a tool and, when supported, which tool it must call.

Controls the response format, including JSON mode or structured JSON output when supported.

Sequences that stop generation when the model produces one of them.

Optional<number>presence_penalty

Penalizes tokens that already appeared, encouraging the model to introduce new topics.

Range: -2 to 2

Optional<number>frequency_penalty

Penalizes repeated tokens, reducing repetition in the generated response.

Range: -2 to 2

Optional<integer>seed

Seed used to make sampling more reproducible when the provider supports it.

Optional<integer>top_k
